The true origin of the name Baćuška can be traced back to 14th century where a handful of orthodox monks gathered and decided to stop the evil demonic invasion that was plaguing their sacred lands.
With the help of Dečanskih Monasa they learned the art ov angelic chanting and started to create this holy chant to scare away the evil demons that threatened their Pravoslavlje.

Recorded at Crkva Sv. Petke Paraskeve around 14th century.
